I generally adapt to the student, letting them talk about themselves and their lives. If the student needs me to lead, I have a few different methods: If the student is at beginner to intermediate level, I'll use random or basic questions to get them speaking. If the student is at an advanced level, I will use news articles, IELTS practice tests, or similar materials to review and strengthen their English ability even more!
