Hello!
I've been teaching English as a secondary language (ESL) for over 25 years. I like to make my students feel comfortable and create an environment that encourages them to learn and achieve their goals on their English learning journey. Having taught English remotely for a while , it has been a real joy to learn about different cultures and traditions. Always encountering an opportunity to learn something new myself, that assists me in my own personal development. Let's travel together and have fun along the way.
I was born raised and educated in Melbourne, Australia. I love to travel . I like music- rock & pop, as well as reading - fiction & autobiographies . I enjoy the cinema having watched the movie 'Something's Gotta Give', many times and I also like watching series such as 'Downton Abbey' and Outlander'. I am fond of the Theatre, Pilates, and Cooking. My favourite of all is meeting people from all over the world!

Teaching Style
I ask alot of questions encouraging speaking while I carefully listen to the needs of each student, noting where I feel they may require assistance. If the student wishes, I am willing to share my thoughts, ideas and professional opinion, leading to a discussion as to the best course of action to help you achieve your English learning goals. We can read articles together, learning about different topics while improving English skills. I can provide assistance with grammar, vocabulary (idioms, phrasal verbs etc) , pronunciation and the list goes on. There are also many interesting Cambly courses that are available , which we can do. I provide feedback and am interested in the student's feedback as well. All this takes place in a friendly, supportive and fun environment. My teaching style may be better suited to the age group of 15 years old to adults of all ages. I really enjoy teaching and I am told this is reflected in my classes.
