I'm a language enthusiast at heart — and I mean that literally. I'm currently on my own journey learning Spanish, which keeps me grounded in what it actually feels like to work through the challenges of a second language. That experience makes me a more empathetic tutor, and I think it shows in how I work with students. Outside of teaching, I love the outdoors — hiking, and e-biking are regular parts of my life, and I've even done a couple of winter camping trips in northern Minnesota (yes, intentionally). Music is another big passion; I've been playing drums since childhood and also enjoying playing guitar and bass. What I find most rewarding about tutoring is the genuine connection it creates. Over the years my students have taught me as much as I've taught them — about their cultures, their cuisines, their professional worlds. That exchange is something I genuinely look forward to in every lesson.

For exam preparation (IELTS and TOEFL speaking), I combine targeted strategy work with detailed, personalized feedback so you know exactly where you stand and what to focus on before test day.
