I am a certified public school teacher in early childhood and elementary education. I have a Master's degree in education, a Bachelor's degree in child development, and a TESOL certificate for teaching English. I have been an online English tutor for 8 years and I have a total of 31 years of experience teaching. Cambly Experience and Interests: Basic English, Conversational English, Everyday English, Common English phrases ** I love being a Cambly tutor! I tutor children on the Cambly Kids platform and I tutor only adult women on regular Cambly. I do not tutor any men or children on regular Cambly. Thank you for understanding! **
I love being a Cambly tutor!! My husband and I have been married for 29 years. We have 2 grown children. We love spending time together. I also love to read, spend time with my friends, attend church, exercise, do jigsaw puzzles, volunteer to help people in our community, and try and learn new things. I am very patient, kind, positive, and encouraging. You will quickly feel comfortable with our English lessons because you will have no need to feel nervous or pressured in any way. I hope you make many, many mistakes during our lessons because making mistakes means you are trying and learning! You can choose exactly how you would like our lessons to go. For example: ***We can do one of the structured Cambly lessons ***We can do one of the online lessons I have saved and have quick assess to in my Cambly tutor portal ***We can read stories and articles together and discuss them ***We can have a conversation with topics, vocabulary, and discussion questions provided by Cambly ***We can have only a free conversation to practice your conversational skills ***You can provide the activities or articles you would like to use or we can do a mixture of all of the above! I provide both verbal and written feedback during our lessons, so you can both hear and see what the correct words and phrases look and sound like. I also send written feedback after our lessons are over. I would love to meet you and be your guide to help you improve your English skills.
