Kelsea
Hello!
Hi my name is Kelsea! I have been an English teacher now for 8 years! I currently live abroad in Mexico with my own three bilingual children so I understand the trials of learning and maintaining a second language and want to help. I specialize in teaching beginner to advanced grammar and phonetics. I am also studying Speech-Language Pathology in order to better understand and help my nuerodivergent and DLD students!
I am a collector of special interests you could say! I love discussing and teaching various topics. And since language learning is a special interest of mine I really enjoy teaching! I am also a big reader and read an average of 10+ books a month. By night I am an English teacher but by day I work as a design consultant, but my true full time job is being a single traveling mom.

Teaching Style
I specialize in teaching basic to advanced grammar and phonics, and can help with beginner to advanced reading levels. I do not accept Recurring Lesson Requests from new students. Also, because of the limited time and high number of students I do not create or provide extra material outside of the Cambly provided material. If you have a child and would like me to tutor them here on the regular Cambly platform please send me a message at minimum 10 hours ahead of time about the child's current level of English as well as a link to the provided material you would like for me to use. I no longer create my own material and content because of my limited time and high number of students, so if your child is at a beginning level and you are unable to sign them up for Cambly Kids please provide the material or topic you would like to use (if you need a list of resources please send me a message). If you are under 18 and already have a conversational level of English feel free to reserve the class with me normally. I update my schedule every Monday but currently I am only opening my schedule to my regular students because of my limited time slots. If you would like to reserve a lesson please send me a message. If I am late to a Class. Please keep in mind that the majority of my students are ages 10 and under. Life with small children is unpredictable and sometimes my younger students are a few minutes late to or have technical difficulties during a class. It also takes around 30 seconds to connect to a class and sometimes this causes me to be a few minutes late. If I am more than 5 minutes late to class I will do my best to send a message ahead of time and if able, I will complete the 30 minutes time of the class.
