I have taught English for over 20 years in China, Brazil, Colombia and Argentina. I specialize in teaching adult professionals, helping them build the English skills they need for their careers. Most recently, I was Managing Director of a large English academy in Shanghai, where I led a team of teachers and helped thousands of professionals communicate with confidence. My lessons focus on real workplace situations: writing a clear email to your boss, speaking up in a meeting, or passing a job interview. I focus on practicing the language students need in the workplace and in their daily life, I don't just teach single words. I like to teach full sentences that will help students express their ideas more clearly. My lessons are designed to make the students practice the target language and when they make mistakes I correct them.
