BACK ON CAMBLY PRO! I'm Jimmy living in Osaka, Japan.I have a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics and Teaching English as a Second Langauge. I am particularly interested in helping students in the sciences. I have a deep interest in all aspects of science and can help you with academic English and improving academic discussion skills and confidence.
When I'm not teaching, I am a writer and independent researcher operating across a number of disciplines related to patterns and information. I am interested in cosmology, quantum mechanics, information theory, artificial intelligence, psychology/neuroscience/mental health, sociology, comedy and humour...and well...pretty much anything.

In our first lesson, I will evaluate your abilities and work closely with you to decide a plan to reach your goals. I focus on building speaking confidence, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation skills in a fun lesson style that gives you as much practice time as possible. We will review previous vocabulary, work on making your expressions natural while fixing important grammar and pronunciation problems. Book a lesson with me for more details!
