Hello!
I`ve been teaching English since 2016. I have experience in preparing students for high school exams, IELTS as well as job interviews. I can teach/converse with you about ecology, travel, culture, food, movies, parenting, some areas of medicine and science etc. I like to start my class with a short chat in order to assess the student`s level, after which I can have a better understanding of the requirements that the student has. Students of all levels are welcome.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time outdoors riding my bike, camping and hiking. I love reading books, trying out new recipes and learning languages. I have spent a summer working in Greece, which inspired me to try and learn this unique language. I enjoy dancing too, folklore, salsa and modern style especially. Ever since I became a parent, I haven`t had as much time for that, but I still enjoy it. I like to watch a good movie or TV show. I`m interested in gardening. In recent years I started growing a small vegetable garden in my yard and I have a flower garden too. I would like to learn about your interests as well. Looking forward to meeting you.

Teaching Style
“Natural approach”- the focus lies on speaking instead of grammar. This makes the class very student-centered. Mistakes are corrected as they happen in class. Potential mistakes and grammar rules are pointed out when necessary. I focus on teaching language through real-world assignments and problem-solving, since most of my students want to practice exactly this. On the other hand, when having a freestyle lesson, I mostly like to leave the mistake correction for the end, and just have a pleasant conversation in the meantime. With children, I use props, sing, jump, draw and have loads of fun.
