My approach to teaching English is to design and plan each class based on your individual needs and interests. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all solution, but rather in creating a program tailor-made specifically for you. To assist me in designing classes for you, I WILL SEND YOU A QUESTIONNAIRE. YOU MUST ANSWER THE QUESTIONS BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS WITH ME. ☺️ Here's some of what we may do together to learn and improve your English: 1. Most people know that reading, writing, speaking and listening are key elements to learning English. However, there is a fifth, equally important, component: learning English idioms. You must learn these idioms to become truly fluent and to talk like a native speaker. ☺️ 2. In addition to conversation practice, I will have you read aloud articles about English figures of speech, as well as advanced articles about various subjects, such as technology, AI, medicine, space exploration, travel and other subjects. By doing this, you will improve your pronunciation, expand your vocabulary and increase your knowledge of common English expressions. Each article has an audio version that you can listen to after each class to further improve your listening and pronunciation skills. ☺️ 3. I will most likely ask you to write short essays about certain topics. (This is especially true if you are preparing for the IELTS or TOEIC exams.) In some cases, you will have these writing assignments as homework to complete before class. Then, we will review your writing together, making corrections as needed. In other cases, I may ask you to write during class, with no time to prepare in advance. This kind of exercise is especially helpful if you are planning to take the IELTS exam because it simulates the real-life conditions of the IELTS exam. These writing tasks will improve your grammar and, believe it or not, your speaking. ☺️ 4. Don't worry about making mistakes. Mistakes are normal and are opportunities to learn. I am a patient and kind teacher. However, be ready to work hard and take a serious, disciplined approach to learning English. ☺️ 5.
