I don’t like spicy greens. I love making custom worksheets for my students, and I’m very, very good at figuring out why someone who’s studied English for years still can’t use it the way they want to. I don’t believe children are naturally better language learners. They just spend more time playing, repeating themselves, and making mistakes without caring. Adults can absolutely do the same. Confident speaking is not some extraordinary talent reserved for a lucky few. My approach is pretty simple: get really good at what you already know before worrying about everything you don’t. I know how to build your vocabulary, but more importantly, I know how to make you actually use it. I studied Psychology in the US and later began acting in English-language productions in Türkiye. Somewhere along the way, I became increasingly fascinated (and occasionally horrified) by how many incredibly capable people couldn’t communicate their expertise internationally. I think we’re seriously underestimating how much language barriers are costing us. Business communication isn’t a luxury. Neither is being able to read research, exchange ideas, or participate in conversations happening outside your own country. I’m widely read in psychology, literature, linguistics, engineering, medicine, science, data analysis, and technology. I love complicated subjects, and I particularly enjoy helping advanced students discuss things they already understand perfectly well in their own language. That said, I love teaching beginners just as much. There’s something incredibly satisfying about watching someone realize they can suddenly have an entire conversation using grammar they learned two weeks ago. I’m not particularly interested in making you sound impressive. I’m interested in making you genuinely competent. The impressive part tends to follow. If you need English for a specific profession, academic field, or just want to become a much better speaker, I’m happy to create materials around that. For advanced students (B2+), please mention your level when messaging me. I’m currently fully booked and not accepting new students. I don’t know when that will change, but you’re welcome to reach out.

I make a ridiculous number of custom worksheets. I genuinely enjoy it. I’m very good at figuring out what you understand, what you think you understand, and what falls apart the moment you actually try to use it. I don’t particularly believe in rushing through grammar topics or memorizing hundreds of words you’ll forget next week. I’d much rather watch you become ridiculously good at using 50 words than vaguely familiar with 500. My lessons are very interactive. We talk, experiment, make mistakes, correct them, and then use the same language in completely different situations until it starts feeling natural. I love creating little scenarios, mysteries, conversations, and problems that require you to actually think in English. Sometimes you’ll be so busy trying to solve something that you’ll forget you’re practicing grammar. I’m also quite particular about pronunciation, sentence structure, and the tiny differences between something that’s technically correct and something a person would actually say. And yes, we’ll probably have a lot of fun.
