I enjoy having interesting conversations with Cambly students from around the world! I use Engoo articles with most of my students, but will also use Cambly lessons or have only free talk with a few students.
I usually use Engoo articles with my students, because we can practice vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation in the same lesson. We often start with a few minutes of free talk. As a former IELTS examiner, I have a very good ear. Advanced students like that I can hear their small mistakes. For intermediate students I'll point out your biggest grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary mistakes. I am not the right teacher for you if you are a beginner. It takes special skills to teach beginners and I don't have them! I prefer intermediate and advanced English speakers. (I DO NOT teach IELTS on Cambly.)

April 21, 2024 UPDATE!! I am not accepting IELTS students anymore. I don't feel happy when I teach IELTS on Camlby. On Cambly I will only accept coversation students. If you want to have a nice conversation, please contact me. If you want IELTS lessons, please choose another teacher. There are many IELTS teachers to choose from. If you heard from your friend or from social media that I'm a good IELTS teacher, it's true. My specialty is giving speaking mock exams and evaluations. Unfortunately, for financial reasons I need to stop teaching IELTS on Cambly and only teach it somewhere else. And no, I won't tell you where I teach IELTS! It's against Cambly rules.
