Hello!
Hello, I’m Lilly, a native British English tutor with over 12 years of teaching experience. I offer relaxed, supportive conversation lessons for adults and fun, engaging English lessons for children. Together, we will build your confidence and help you enjoy using English in real life.
Hi! I’m a native British English tutor with over 12 years of teaching experience. I love meeting people from around the world and helping them become confident English speakers. I enjoy travel, music, dancing, theatre and learning about different cultures. I love hearing people’s stories and having conversations about interesting topics, so there will always be something enjoyable to talk about in our lessons. Before returning to teaching, I created and grew an online community of over 40,000 people. This experience strengthened my communication skills and my love of bringing people from different backgrounds together. My lessons are relaxed, friendly and built around your goals. We can work on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, English for travel, work or daily life. You do not need to be perfect. Mistakes are a normal part of learning, and I will support you as you grow in confidence. Please note that I do not teach IELTS or exam preparation. My focus is natural, practical English for real conversation. I look forward to meeting you and helping you enjoy speaking English!

Teaching Style
My teaching style is friendly, relaxed and encouraging. I believe that everyone learns best when they feel comfortable, supported and confident enough to make mistakes. For adults, lessons are based on natural conversation and useful everyday English. We can talk about travel, work, hobbies, culture, articles or any topic that interests you. I will help you improve your speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary and confidence at a pace that feels right for you. For children, lessons are fun, engaging and suited to their age and level. We learn through games, stories, pictures, songs and conversation. I use a range of activities to help children build their listening, speaking, reading and vocabulary skills without lessons feeling like a chore. In every first lesson, I take time to understand the student’s current level, interests and goals. I can then choose materials and activities that are enjoyable, suitable and challenging enough to help them make progress. My goal is for every student to finish class feeling proud, more confident and happy to keep using English.
