Hi, you can call me Love On, or Love. I'm currently living in Cambodia. Before that I lived in Vietnam for 4 and a half years, teaching English and taking photographs. I’ve been teaching English since 2010 and doing photography since 2000. I was born in South-Africa and lived in a number of different towns including the beautiful Cape Town. I’ve also lived in a small caravan on the Wild Coast of South Africa, where the indigenous amaXhosa people live. There I taught English to the local people and took a lot of photographs (my biggest passion)! I’ve lived in London, Ireland, The Netherlands and for three months, in a wooden cabin in the Swiss Alps. I love getting to know more about different cultures all over the world! About some more things I love... Besides Photography I love getting to know people and cultures of the world, Psychology, nature, traveling, cycling, electronic music and dancing, reading, watching movies, meditation, art making fat salads, going for walks or swimming in the ocean. I love road tripping, camping and just being in beautiful nature with some close friends. And of course I love meeting and hearing the stories of people from different places in the world!

My students describe my teaching style as relaxed and fun! They also say I have a lot of patience :)) I have a clear, neutral accent so it's easy to understand me. I like hearing personal stories and talking about a wide variety of topics. I can help you become fluent in English, by telling which areas you need to focus on to become more fluent. Besides general speaking practice, we can focus on specific areas to improve. I'm particularly passionate about helping students sound more natural by focusing on word stress and intonation (by highlighting keywords when speaking or reading.)
