Hi, I'm Cathy, an experienced English tutor (from Ireland) with 8+ years in international and online education. I specialise in relaxed, engaging conversation that helps you speak more naturally and confidently. I love meeting people from around the world and talking about culture, travel, work, society and everyday life. Whether you'd like natural conversation practice, gentle correction or help expressing yourself more clearly, I'll adapt our sessions to you.
I'm originally from Ireland and have lived, worked and studied in several countries, including Spain, Germany, Dubai, Finland, Sweden and the UK. I'm naturally curious about people, cultures and different ways of life, which is one reason I've always enjoyed teaching on Cambly. Outside teaching, I love nature and the outdoors, cooking and good food, travel, writing, music, growing things, and conversations about culture, society, education, wellbeing and the environment. I'm equally happy having a thoughtful discussion or simply chatting about everyday life!
