Hi! I’m Gabriela, an English teacher and certified medical interpreter from Honduras. I’ve been teaching English to students from around the world since 2018, and I absolutely love helping people become more confident communicating in English. I’m a dentist by profession, a teacher by passion, and a lifelong language learner. I’ve worked as a certified interpreter and English teacher with students and professionals from many different backgrounds, so I’m comfortable talking about everything from everyday life and travel to healthcare, business, culture, fitness, and current events. Outside of teaching, I love strength training, traveling, reading, learning Portuguese, and spending time with my cats. 🐱 I’ve also had the opportunity to work with international organizations and people from different countries, which has made me genuinely curious about other cultures and perspectives. I believe learning a language is much more than memorizing vocabulary — it’s about being able to connect with people and express who you are. Ps. We can also practice Spanish if you want to!

My classes are relaxed, friendly, and adapted to YOU. I like to use real conversations rather than making every lesson feel like a traditional classroom. We can talk about your interests, practice everyday situations, work on pronunciation, expand your vocabulary, or focus on grammar and fluency when you need it. I’ll correct your mistakes in a supportive way and explain why something sounds more natural, so you can gradually start speaking with confidence instead of worrying about being perfect. If you have a specific goal — IELTS, TOEFL, interviews, presentations, professional English, travel, or simply becoming more fluent — we can build our lessons around it. My goal is simple: I want you to leave every lesson feeling that you can communicate a little better than you could before.
