Greetings from the middle of the USA! My name is Teacher Lisa and I would be delighted to be yourteacher. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education plus hours towards a Master’s Degree in Education. I have taught children for 16 years including preschool, daycare, public elementary school, Sunday School, and currently homeschool. I have taught over 6,000 online English classes with Gogokid and have over 3,000 five star parent reviews. I have my TESOL certification. I have four children, a husband, and a cat that I love spending time with. I enjoy watching my children participate in sports, dance, and music. My husband is a high school history teacher and I stay home and homeschool our children. Teaching and education are important parts of my life each and every day. Teaching is a passion I have, and I try my best to make learning fun, engaging, and relevant for each student. I would be honored to teach your classes. My main hobby is watching and doing anything my four kids do such as piano lessons, playing sports, doing school, cooking with them, playing outside! I like to shop, read, watch movies, and organize and make lists! I also like to cook and bake when time allows. I enjoy teaching!

I am patient. I encourage correct grammar and complete sentences. I am very serious about learning and learning to speak in full sentences. I use props, flashcards, rewards and TPR to encourage student output. I celebrate when my students do well. Please be on time for class!! After three no shows, late classes, or canceling class with less than 24 hours notice, I will no longer accept requests. My preference is for students 8 or older who can read and write in English on their own.
