***Exam Preparation and Pronunciation specialist. Currently accepting bookings from new Pro students*** Hi! I'm Kate and I'm from the UK. I'm a highly qualified and experienced teacher, with a passion for learning and languages. As a Cambly Pro tutor, I provide structured, goal-orientated lessons, planned according to your specific needs and interests. My specialisms include exam preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, EIKEN, TOEIC and more) and pronunciation, with a particular interest in phonetics and phonology. I am a native English speaker with a neutral British accent and particularly enjoy working with upper intermediate and advanced speakers (adults or advanced teens only please) to improve pronunciation and use of connected speech. I prefer to use a more structured approach to lessons; for example by discussing articles or using Cambly lessons, but I'm also happy to have a general conversation with you. I would also welcome the opportunity to work with students preparing examinations, as I am a certified IELTS tutor (speaking only) and have experience with other exams, including TOEFL, EIKEN and TOEIC. I am friendly, patient and enthusiastic. I am happy to correct pronunciation errors as they arise, but I also like to give learners the opportunity to speak freely and develop fluency. I enjoy finding interesting articles to read together with my students and use them as a way to help develop vocabulary and comprehension, as well as pronunciation, through reading texts aloud.
