Hi, I have been teaching adults for over 25 years and a tutor on Cambly for 8. I love reading, cooking, music, travel, chatting, learning new things, meeting interesting new people and discovering what people from other cultures like and enjoy. Have met students from 53 countries up to now! I have been living in Vietnam for 20+ years with my wife and daughter, my students tell me I have a good understanding of Asian culture. I am also obsessed with 20th century China, history, politics and literature - I might surprise you!

I would describe my teaching style as helpful and encouraging. I also like my lessons to be useful, practical and very importantly good humored. Studying doesn't always have to be hard work. I am also flexible, if you forgot to book a lesson, send an SMS, if I can I will make time for you! For IELTS students please be aware that I don't like to give practice tests, I am a teacher, not an examiner and also that I will not use "question bank" or questions provided by the student - that is definitely not my approach.
