Hello! My name is Millie. I was born and raised in London, England. I have many years of experience trying to learn a second language and understand your struggles completely! For various reasons, 6 years ago, I decided on a career change. My nursing career involved a lot of teaching which I enjoyed very much, therefore it seemed a natural progression to become a full time teacher. Teaching and nursing are similar in many ways. You are educating, supporting, evaluating and encouraging your patients or students. To see people growing in confidence and reaching their full potential is a great joy to me. I am very patient even in the most challenging of situations. I am a happy person, I have very good interpersonal skills and I love people and animals. I enjoy being in nature, snorkelling, photography, arts and crafts, music and dancing. I am also a Reiki healer. The most wonderful experience of my life was a 3 week trip backpacking in India. I hope to return there someday.

I believe that learning should be fun! My classes are lively and enjoyable. We all have different learning styles and I adapt my teaching to each individual student to create an optimal learning experience. I am friendly, happy, patient, and I love to chat and hear about other people's lives and experiences. I give my students the knowledge and confidence to converse. Many students are able to read English but cannot hold a conversation. My aim is to change that.
