I am a Tax Accountant by Profession, I worked in Chartered Accountancy for 40 years. Originally I worked for the Big 4 - yes all 4 of them - before starting my own accounting practice. I also taught Business Management and Business Communication for many years, both in group sessions and in one-on-one lessons. helping people to better understand the business world and how to succeed in their own business. With my husband we owned a motel/restaurant and I worked the business with him. If you enjoy talking on a wide range of topics, I look forward to talking with you. My favorite subject is History, but I enjoy all conversation.
I enjoy travel, reading, cooking, history - these and many more topics are what I enjoy discussing. I do my best to explain things in plain, easy to understand language.

I enjoy teaching English through conversation in a less structured way. History, travel, food, different cultures - plus many more - are topics I enjoy sharing with students. I also use various resources to teach in a more structured way for students who prefer this, and if you let me know in advance what you would like to do at a lesson, I can have everything required ready for when we meet. I do not have the skills required to teach young children, so please do not be disappointed if I decline a lesson with your child.
