Hello! My name is Erin and I am 38 years old. I'm originally from Texas in the USA, but now I live with my husband in the very rainy country of Ireland. I also lived in Japan for six years and taught students of all ages at a conversation school and a private kindergarten. I believe that becoming fluent is a lifelong journey, and it is important to enjoy your time studying! I am very interested in different cultures and talking with people about their experiences! I am also passionate about animals, literature, travel, writing, and getting to know people from all different walks of life. In my free time, I enjoy making stained glass, crocheting, gardening, calligraphy, and reading both fiction and non-fiction books.

I believe that learning any language is a lifelong journey, and the most important thing is to enjoy that journey! My lessons focus on conversation and on allowing you to use your English as much as possible rather than just memorizing grammar and vocabulary. You can always let me know at any point during the lesson if you would like lots of corrections, or if you would like to review a particular grammar concept.
