Hello!
Hi there! My name is Jessica but you can call me Jess. I am a native English speaker and a qualified TEFL teacher. I have completed several Cambridge courses on different topics from Teaching Speaking to Exam Preparation such as A1 Key and B1 preliminary. I have experience with one on one tutoring as well as group sessions and I’ve also spent 3 months in Vietnam teaching English to young students in the classroom. This is where I discovered my passion for teaching!
I have spent several years travelling and gaining experience in different aspects of my life. In my spare time I enjoy cooking as well as staying active. I volunteer at my local animal welfare shelter where I walk the dogs once a week and I am currently practicing yoga and meditation.

When I teach, I like to incorporate skills such as reading, writing, listening and speaking, with the help of interesting props and fun games. I am a very patient person and easy to get along with which I understand is key when it comes to teaching. I like to encourage full sentences at all times and enjoy using self-correction methods with my students while working in a professional and supportive environment.
