Hello!

Hello, My name is Liz. I am a certified English tutor with a bachelor's degree in methods of language. I love to travel and meet new people, experience new things, and learn about different cultures. I have been an English tutor about 10 years. I mostly teach business English, but I also have experience in IELTS, TEFL, or TOIC practice. I have recently begun teaching Spanish, and I am currently learning French.

I grew up in Utah, in the city of Ogden. I currently live in Mexico and I love it. I have many hobbies and I enjoy a little bit of everything. I used to be a personal fitness trainer and nutritionist but made the transition to English teacher 10 years ago and I love it! I have a Bachelor's degree in Methods of Language. I speak English, Spanish, and some French. I have a 1-year-old daughter and two dogs.

Teaching Style

I like my lessons to be interactive, fun and supportive. I encourage my students to have a voice in the classroom. I like my lessons to be student-centered, allowing the student to express him or herself. I give positive feedback and lots of encouragement. I want my students to feel relaxed and confident in their abilites. I want my students to learn the practical side of a Language so I teach my students how to use English in their own day to day personal activities.
