Teaching Style
My classes are student centred. This means that while I may lead the discussion, you will be speaking more. I use activities such a brainstorming, eliciting ideas from students, and pair work. I use patience and humour in my classes to encourage students to feel relaxed and be a little less shy. Sometimes I use "hot correction" meaning I correct students' errors as soon as they are said, especially if its a repeated error. But I also take notes on small errors (including pronunciation) and then review them with the students afterward.
