When it comes to one-on-one tutoring, I try to understand the student's needs as quickly as I can. I think being a demonstrator is important when someone is a beginner with any language. Once a student has acquired the basics and feels comfortable with their English skills, I then become more of a facilitator, encouraging self-learning and discovery.
