Anita
Hello!
Hello students! My name is Anita, and I specialise in teaching Business English to intermediate and advanced level students all around the world. Are you ready to take your English to the next level in business? I can help with presentations, job interviews, career and personal development, career breaks and more! I am here to help you learn the best way possible and connect with you as a person. In London and online, I am a creative educator, helping SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) students, and individuals to create art, and feel good about themselves. My 4 years of English teaching experience includes working in the UK, and Mexico, and volunteering in India and Spain. I primarily teach teenagers and adults. I like to add creativity in our lessons and share my experience and wisdom of working in e.g. marketing - photography, graphic design, events, assisting executives and so much more! I also like free conversations, and teach Business English, Workshop: Practicing Presentations, Workshop: Practicing Job Interviews, Caring for Our Planet, Healthy Mind, Healthy Body, and Conversation Topics courses.
Who am I? I am Anita from London; UK and I am of Indian and Scottish origin. I am a free spirit, curious, determined, and introverted, and craves excitement and exploration. After travelling slow for a year, living and working in Mexico and Guatemala and embracing the Latin American culture, I have returned home to London. What am I doing? Finding a work life balance that is sustainable, travel slow, work online, and work on creative projects. I always loved to learn about different cultures and travel - I worked at London Heathrow Airport and met so many nationalities, which inspired me to travel, work, and volunteer abroad. The highlights for me have been living and working at a hostel in Guatemala and yoga hostel in Mexico, teaching English in Mexico, working in media in the Czech Republic, and volunteering in rural India and Scotland. I plan to do more! Hobbies, interests, and lifestyle. Travel – leisure, work, and volunteer. Environment and sustainability – a simple diet and lifestyle, low waste, gardening, and ethical capitalism. Music – rock, pop, dance, classical, chill out. Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, Muse, Nirvana, BTS, Calvin Harris, Faithless, Disclosure, Debussy, Zero 7, Hotel Costes. Art - environmental art - murals, leisure, and photography – film stills, portraits and property. Wellbeing – meditation and massage. Exercise - Pilates, cycling, walking and anything fun! Books – travel, graphic novels, and anime. Death Note, Sin City and more!
