Hi there! Thanks for visiting my profile. My name is Richard and I'm from the state of Pennsylvania in the USA. I've been teaching English as a foreign language for 15 years now. I've had the opportunity to teach English in South Korea, China, Spain and Romania, where I currently reside. I have extensive experience in helping students improve their speaking, listening, writing, and pronunciation skills. I also have a great deal of experience and success in preparing students for IELTS (speaking & writing), TOEFL (speaking & writing), TOEIC (listening, reading, speaking, & writing), and other exams. So whether you'd like to prepare for an English test, focus on developing a specific aspect of your English, or simply improve your general conversation ability, I'd be happy to help you realize your learning goals. In order to help my students meet their individual learning goals, I find a personalized, interactive, communicative, student-centered approach works best. Each lesson is tailored to a student's particular needs, focusing on overcoming challenges to strengthen their abilities and improve their performance. One of the greatest pleasures of teaching for me is helping a student make consistent progress towards their goals, so everything done during a lesson is designed to further that end. I always strive to be focused, patient, and conscientious during each and every lesson.
