Learning through immersion is learning for life

Learning through immersion is learning for life

Lessons with native speakers create a challenging and nurturing environment for language learning. In the Cambly Kids classroom, there's exactly one tutor and one student, meaning your child gets the maximum speaking time and the maximum chance to develop spoken English fluency.

Active Learning is deeper learning

Students who interact with new information in multiple ways create memories that last longer and are recalled faster than students who simply memorize.

The Cambly Kids Approach

See

New vocabulary is introduced alongside images, creating a direct connection between the English word and the concept and bypassing the need for translation.

Hear

Children listen to their native English-speaking tutor, hearing the vocabulary in its natural pronunciation and grammatical context.

Speak

The tutor encourages the student to use new vocabulary in their own sentences and provides direct feedback to keep the student engaged and motivated.

Relate

Exercises and games prompt the student to use the new English vocabulary to talk about their own life, resulting in stronger and longer-lasting memories than passive memorization

Analyze

As they advance, students are asked to think critically and use new vocabulary to express their ideas and opinions. Students begin to own the English language as they practice thinking in English.
