Hello! My name is Kali. I have been volunteering as an English teacher for years and finally decided to get my Certificate in TEFL/TESOL so I can actively teach English! I believe that I am a born teacher and am always seeking out opportunities to learn new things and teach others what I know. I look forward to getting to teach you all of the intricacies of the English language and how it works. English is a daunting language and I am eager to help improve your fluency! I am also a student learning a new language, so I know exactly how you feel. We are in this together!
Besides teaching, I have many passions. Travel, music, design, food, language, etc. I am very lucky to have had the opportunity to travel all over the world, and even moved abroad just over a year ago to pursue further education. I graduated from the University of Iowa with a BFA in Three-Dimensional Design and certificate in Sustainability. Now, after studying Korean language for awhile, I am studying for a masters in Urban Planning and Urban Design in Seoul, South Korea. On a free weekend, which there aren't many of since starting school again, you can probably find me at a museum, exploring one of the beautiful city parks, or catching up with friends.
