Hello, my name is Jaclyn and I am from California. I worked in marketing, finance, consulting, business strategy, and project management for many years in the Bay Area. I have lots of experience in the professional American workplace and how to be as effective as possible in a number of settings. This includes presentations, interviews, business/sales meetings, building rapport with clients, and more. I have also helped students on how to best create agendas and guide successful meetings, coaching people on their communication styles and how to build rapport quickly and easily with others in business, and presentation skills. I truly believe in creating confidence in my students. Helping them with their pronunciation, identifying patterns of mistakes/concepts that they need to improve, and also - where they are already doing well! Every student has great potential in their language journey and I believe my role is to support that to the best of my ability. TEFL 120 hour certification. I am also highly proficient in Italian (B2) and A2 for Spanish. My hobbies include fashion design, photography, travel, art, and cooking.
Fun facts about me are that I like to cook, I lived in San Francisco for 8 years, and I like to read travel books! I recently have been reading about Pompei, the mysterious city that was covered by Vesuvius. I also like to study languages and listen to music from other countries.

I create interactive lessons with themes to accomplish goals and make learning fun and engaging. I also help students with presentation skills and Business English for professionals. I have good instincts with students and the learning process that help them to have success. Learning can be very challenging! I understand this as someone who studies other languages, and I can empathize. What I can offer is a keen instinct in helping to coach students when they encounter challenges and give them the confidence to keep going. TEFL Certification completed with Advanced Certification of 120 hours.
