Hi, I'm Galina, a British English teacher and communication coach with over a decade of experience in universities, language schools and corporate training. I specialise in Business English and professional communication: presentations, interviews and meetings. My lessons are structured around your goals, not just free chat. You'll leave each session with language you can actually use at work. If you have a specific goal, tell me in your first message and we'll build towards it from lesson one. Two things to know before you book. I teach adults only. And my lessons are camera-on: speaking practice works through faces, expressions and real connection, so I don't continue calls with the camera off. If you're comfortable with both, I'd love to work with you.
I was born and raised in Berkshire, England, and I've lived in Ireland, London and Milan before settling in beautiful southern Italy, where I live with my animals. Coming from a mixed background where not all my relatives spoke English, I learned early how to communicate across language barriers, and that shaped me as a teacher: patient, clear and genuinely encouraging. Outside teaching I love reading, running and long walks. Ask me about my rescue kittens if you'd like a smile at the start of a lesson.

I like to work with students based on their interests using a variety of videos, articles and topics to create an engaging discussion. This allows you the opportunity to practise using the language you want to use instead of obliging you to learn words and phrases which aren't going to be useful for your life in English.
