I love travelling, exploring new places, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. I have travelled to over twenty countries and have taken at least ten solo trips. I moved abroad to Sri Lanka almost five years ago. I have a passion for health and wellness. I worked as a Kinesiologist and have over five years of experience in various medical settings via volunteer and work placements. Specifically, I am interested in holistic health and enjoy organic gardening in my spare time. I also enjoy going to the gym and working out.

My favourite way to teach English is by engaging my students in conversation. I allow my students to dictate the flow and pace of the lesson. I ask them many questions and for their feedback. I adapt my teaching to my student's needs. I like to teach comprehensive lessons that touch on reading, writing, speaking and listening. I provide regular constructive feedback to students, fixing mistakes as we go to ensure that they are learning from their mistakes. I tend to spend more time on areas of language that I see the student struggling with. This method ensures that students feel fulfilled during the lesson and remain engaged. I regularly provide students with practical words to expand their vocabulary and improve fluency.
