With six enriching years as an EFL teacher, I've had the rewarding experience of teaching English across Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand. As a teacher with Cambly, my role involves instructing students who are part of Cambly courses. These courses consist of conversation prompts, ESL videos with accompanying quizzes, and online news articles that serve as conversation topics. Sustaining a free-flowing conversation for thirty minutes is challenging, as I often struggle to keep the discussion going. However, I would have been more comfortable with a fifteen-minute conversation if we had not followed the Cambly courses' structure.
