こんにちは皆さん！！ 私の名前はラシェイです。皆さんの英語学習の旅の一部になれて、とてもワクワクしています！！ 私は英語がとても得意で、アメリカのニュージャージー州にあるラトガース大学で英文学を学び、高校時代にはジャーナリストとしても働いていました。また、アメリカのアフリカ系アメリカ人コミュニティに特有の英語の方言、AAVE（アフリカ系アメリカ人英語）も話します。教えることに楽しさを取り入れるのが好きなので、学びながら楽しい時間を過ごすことも計画しています。私はいわゆる「人好きのする人」で、人々が最高の自分になるのを手助けすることをとても楽しんでいます。皆さん一人一人のためにそれを実現することを楽しみにしています。
私は40歳で、とても美しい3歳の男の子のシングルマザーです。彼は本当に私を狂わせます！！ でも、それでいいのです。私の教室であなたに会えるのを楽しみにしています！！

Hi everyone!! My name is LaShay and I'm SO excited to be a part of your English speaking journey!! I am very proficient in the English language, have studied English Literature at Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA) and have also worked as a journalist in high school. I also speak a vernacular of English exclusive to the US African-American community called AAVE or African-American Vernacular English. I like to incorporate fun into my teaching so plan to not only learn but also have a good time while doing so. I am what they call a "people person" and very much enjoy helping people become their best selves. I look forward to doing so for each and every one of you.
I'm a 40 year old single mom to a beautiful little 3-year-old boy who absolutely drives me crazy!! And I wouldn't have it any other way. So excited to meet you in my classroom!!

I have a teaching style that blends both hybrid and facilitator styles. Because majority of communication is nonverbal, I believe adding my own personality allows the student to better understand context. However, I firmly believe in creating an environment where students can use their critical thining skills and self-learn.
