For nearly 30 years, I was a teacher and an executive in US community colleges. I was the president of a community college for nearly a decade before retiring to help look after one of my elder sisters. I have a doctoral degree in higher education leadership and can help you to feel more comfortable and confident as a part of your English language journey.
Now retired from higher education, I'm a grandmother for four gorgeous children. I live in a rural area in the Midwestern US with my dogs and surrounded by trees, green grass, and fresh air. My life is quiet and happy! I make blankets for charity, give away hundreds of books to elementary school children each year, and enjoy my large yard and orchard with fruit trees. During my career, I hired lots of professionals and made many professional presentations. I can coach you with interview skills, conference presentations, and formal English as well as casual conversation. I taught US government and comparative politics at the college level several times and am comfortable with answering questions about them.
