Hello, I'm Tina! I'm interested in getting to know people from around the world and in helping them improve their English. I love using language as a writer and in my day to day life. I am friendly and patient and hope to talk to you soon!
I have a degree in English, was a librarian for 17 years, and am a published author and poet. I now help middle school students who are struggling to learn many things, including reading, writing, and speaking. So you can say I've spent a lot of my life focused on words and language!

I feel my teaching style is friendly and casual. I love helping new English speakers, but I have a strong vocabulary and I won't be afraid to use it as lessons progress. I also enjoy word play and use colorful language, such as idioms, with frequency.
