Hello! I'm Maya from Canada! I am currently a final year medical student. I have always had a passion for teaching. I have tutored English for 12+ years, have taught English to international students aged 3-12 years old and formerly a Kumon teaching assistant.
I have lived in 5 countries, I love small towns, a good cup of tea, podcasts, self-help books, and pilates! I am currently starting to watch Anime and I'm learning to cook!

I believe the best way to achieve fluency is through conversation by asking and answering questions. Practicing carrying a conversation builds confident, reinforces listening skills and improves pronunciation!
