こんにちは！
親愛なる学生の皆さん、私の名前はジェイソン・フレイタスです。私はスペイン語の学士号を持ち、第二言語習得と教育（英語とスペイン語）の副専攻をしています。私は教育を職業として選んだ理由は、教育が最も自己満足の得られる仕事の一つであり、他人の人生に変化をもたらす素晴らしい方法だと感じているからです。これまでの年月の中で、幼児教育や成人教育に携わることで多くのことを学びました。楽観的な心構えで、私は教育がもたらす挑戦を受け入れています。それは、私の教えを学生のニーズや学習スタイルに最も適した形に適応させる能力です。
私は他の人を助けることが大好きな人間です。言語を学び、教えることが好きです。翻訳者の需要が高まっている世界では、複数の言語を知っていることが有利だと感じています。私は非常に忍耐強く、生徒たちに質問をするように促します。教師として、成功への扉を開くためには、生徒が快適に感じ、間違いを犯すことを恥ずかしく思わないことが重要だと思います（私たちは皆間違いを犯します）。

Dear Students, My name is Jason Freitas. I have a Bachelors Degree in Spanish and a minor in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (English and Spanish). I chose teaching as a profession because I feel that teaching is one of the most self-rewarding jobs out there and a great way to make a difference in the lives of others. Over the years, I have learned so much from working with early childhood education and adults. With an optimistic mindset, I accept the challenge that teaching brings which is the ability to adapt my teachings that cater best to the needs and learning style of my students. Estimados Estudiantes, Tengo una licenciatura en español con una concentración en aprendizaje y adquisición del segundo lenguaje (inglés y español). La razón principal por la cual elegí la maestría como mi profesión es que el ser maestro es de los oficios más auto-gratificantes y que puede marcar una diferencia en las vidas de los alumnos. A lo largo de los años, he enriquecido mis conocimientos sobre el aprendizaje de edad temprana y la educación adulta. Con optimismo, acepto el reto que conlleva ser maestro. Siempre y cuando sea necesario, estoy dispuesto a adaptar las enseñanzas a las aptitudes/necesidades del estudiante para mejor atender a su modo de aprendizaje y objetivos.
I am a person who loves helping others. I love learning and teaching languages. In a world whose demand for translators is increasing, I feel that having knowledge of multiple languages puts you at an advantage. I am very patient and encourage my students to ask questions. As a teacher, I feel that in order to open the door to success it is important to make my students feel comfortable as well as not embarrassed to make mistakes (we all make mistakes) Soy una persona que le encanta ayudar a la gente. Me gusta estudiar y aprender idiomas. En un mundo, cuya demanda para traductores va en alza , estoy convencido de que el tener conocimiento de múltiples lenguas nos aporta muchas ventajas. Soy una persona muy paciente y aliento a mis estudiantes a que hagan preguntas. Como maestro, a mi parecer, para abrir las puertas al éxito, es importante que los estudiantes se sientan cómodos y que no se sientan juzgados por cometer errores (todos cometemos).

外国語の習得においては、自分の快適ゾーンを離れることが必要です。快適ゾーンを離れることは、つまずいたり、間違えたり、場合によっては恥をかくことを厭わないことを含みます。私たち一人一人（私自身も含めて）は、間違いから学びます。私は、すべての生徒が私の教室で間違いを犯すことに対して快適に感じられる環境を作るつもりです。私たちは皆人間であり、特に新しい言語を学ぶ際には間違いが起こることは避けられません。私は、学びをできるだけ楽しく、意味のあるものにしようと努めています。私の経験や研究によれば、学びは個人的な応用が関わるときにより意味深く、効果的であることが知られています。言い換えれば、生徒が知識を自分に適用できるとき、学びはより意味を持つようになります。子供たちに関しては、彼らは楽しさやゲームを通じて学びます。したがって、私は学びを促進するために、ゲームや楽しい活動を授業計画に取り入れるようにしています。また、言語を学ぶことには文化について学ぶことも含まれます。私の授業では、文化（食べ物、スポーツ、音楽など）に関する短いレッスンを取り入れて、文化と言語の両方に対する理解を深めることを計画しています。

To achieve proficiency in a foreign language, it is necessary to leave one's comfort zone. Leaving one's comfort zone does include being willing to stumble, make mistakes even embarrassing oneself in some cases. Every single one of us (myself included), learn from our mistakes. I intend to create an environment in which every student feels comfortable to make mistakes in my classroom. We are all human and mistakes will happen, especially, when learning a new language. I try to make learning as fun and meaningful as possible. In my experience as well as according to studies, it is a known fact that learning is more meaningful and effective when it involves personal application. In other words, learning becomes more meaningful when students can apply the knowledge to themselves. As for children, they learn through fun and games. Thus, I try to incorporate games and fun activities into my lesson plans to promote learning. Also, with learning a language comes learning about the culture. In my lessons, I plan to incorporate short lessons on culture (food, sports, music..etc) to foster a deeper understanding for both culture and language. Para alcanzar un nivel de competencia en una lengua extranjera, es muy necesario que salgamos de nuestra zona de Comfort. Eso quiere decir que hay que estar dispuesto a equivocarse, cometer errores y hasta pasar vergüenzas en ciertos casos . Pretendo crear un ambiente en que todos sientan cómodos al equivocarse. Somos seres humanos y es de esperar que cometamos errores, sobre todo a la hora de estudiar una lengua extranjera. Según mis propias experiencias y estudios realizados, queda demostrado que lo que le da mayor sentido al aprendizaje sucede cuando se conecta con el entorno cotidiano y los intereses personales del alumno. En resumidas cuentas, los alumnos se sienten más impulsados a aprender al percibir que las enseñanzas son útiles para su propio desarrollo y vida diaria. En cuanto a los pequeños, aprenden mejor a través de diversión y juegos, entonces procuro incorporar actividades divertidas en mi plan de estudios. Junto con el aprendizaje de un idioma viene la parte cultural (la musica, los deportes, la comida..etc). En mis lecciones, pienso abarcar esos aspectos
