Hello! I am so happy to meet you! My name is Kim, and I taught elementary school for over 12 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Teaching. I just love working with students of all ages and enjoy helping them learn new skills. I am also a mom and have two little boys of my own. I really look forward to working with you!
I have worked with students of all ability ranges, from those who are gifted to those in learning support. Every single student has something wonderful about them, and everyone has a talent. What makes us different is what makes us special and unique! In my free time, I like to play with my sons, read, exercise, walk our dog, and play piano.

I believe it is important for students to feel comfortable with their teachers. I work to have a very positive attitude and will always point out all of the GOOD things you are doing. I really like to encourage my students to do their best and praise them for their efforts, even when things are tricky and they don't understand right away.
