Hello! My name is Teacher Megan, and I’m from the United States. Welcome to my classroom! 😊 I started teaching on Cambly in 2023, but my teaching journey began long before that. Before joining Cambly, I worked as a childcare teacher for 6 years, teaching children of many different ages and learning styles. Throughout my years of teaching, I’ve learned that every student is unique. We all learn at our own pace and in different ways, so I believe it’s important to find a learning style that works best for YOU. My goal is to create a fun, comfortable, and supportive classroom where you can feel confident practicing and improving your English. Whether you want to work on conversation, vocabulary, grammar, or simply become more comfortable speaking English, I’m here to help! A Little About Me 💕 Outside of teaching, I’m a wife and a mom to two wonderful boys. I love spending time with my family and enjoying the simple things in life. Some of my favorite things to do are: 🍳 Cooking and trying new recipes 📚 Reading fantasy books 🍿 Watching anime 👻 Watching Supernatural 🎵 Listening to music 🌳 Spending time outdoors. My teaching style is fun, relaxed, and centered around YOU! I believe learning English should be something you enjoy, not something you have to be nervous or stressed about. I like to get to know each student and find ways to help them learn that are comfortable, enjoyable, and effective for them. Whether you learn best through conversation, games, questions, or simply talking about things you love, we can find a learning style that works for you. My goal is to create a friendly and comfortable classroom where you can feel confident, make mistakes, ask questions, and most importantly—have fun while learning English! 😊
