Hello, my name is Miss Lyz. I have been teaching for over 20 years; now retired, but teaching students online part-time. Teaching is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life! I feel so proud seeing my students succeed and knowing I have helped give them the skills they need for their future. I've helped so many students achieve their goals year after year and I know that YOU are more than capable of doing the same with the right help. I love teaching and am sure I will be teaching in some form for the rest of my life. I enjoy reading, writing short stories and poems, walking and hiking, travelling and meeting new people. I volunteer with community projects and at present I am working with a group of students in a school in Ghana, on a book about their country.

My teaching style incorporates my understanding of the different ways students learn. It can be described as interactive, supportive and flexible. My aim is to keep the engagement and motivation high, encouraging and praising the students efforts whist making sure my students progress.
