こんにちは、生徒の皆さん！ 私の名前はサム・ヒックマンで、イギリスのサウスウェスト出身です。 私は3年以上教師をしており、様々な教育環境で働いてきました。幼稚園、小学校、中学校、大学、語学センターでの勤務経験があります。 この多様な経験を通じて、全てのレベルに対応し、生徒に最適な教授スタイルや方法を知ることができました。 私は2018年にホーチミン市で教え始め、全ての能力を持つ生徒に対応する語学センターで働きました。その後、大学で1学期間IELTSプログラムを教え、生徒の発音と流暢さを向上させました。 2020年には、市内の公立学校全てに英国のカリキュラムを教える民間教育会社で、小学校と中学校の教師になりました。 小学校と中学校の教師としての勤務中、中国とベトナムの生徒にオンラインで個別指導も行いました。この経験を通じて、カメラを通して知識を伝える最良の方法と、どの技術的手法が最も効果的かを知ることができました。 私の人生で最も大きな情熱は、教育、スポーツ、そして旅行です。 30カ国以上を旅して、その国々の言語や文化について学ぶ機会に恵まれました。異なる国の人々に会い、地元の一員になることが大好きです。 スポーツも私の大きな情熱で、16歳の時からスカッシュを競技的にプレイし、子供や大人にコーチングをしています。また、私は大のサッカーファンで、マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのサポーターです。 皆さんについて学ぶのが本当に楽しみです！
私はマンチェスター・メトロポリタン大学で観光経営を学んだ大学卒業生です。 自信があり、人当たりが良く、やる気に満ちた個人で、様々な環境での仕事経験があります。あらゆるレベルでの有能で効果的なコミュニケーターであり、自己主導で意思決定を適切に行う能力があります。 仕事の質と正確さに専念しており、それが重要であると信じており、必要であれば追加の努力を惜しみません。旅行業界と観光業界に対して深い情熱を持ち、異なる文化への広い洞察を得て、様々な個人との仕事を経験しています。 新しい経験を試すことに大きな情熱を持っており、特にアドレナリン活動に興味があります。スキューバダイビング、バンジージャンプ、スカイダイビング、スキー、オートバイが大好きです。

Hello students! My name is Sam Hickman and I am from South West England. I have been a teacher for over three years and have worked in different teaching environments. I have worked in kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, universities and language centres. From this varied experience it has enabled me to cater to all levels and know the best teaching styles and methods to use with my students. I first started teaching in Ho Chi Minh City in 2018, where I worked in language centres with all abilities. This was followed by a semester in a university where I taught an IELTS program to students to improve their pronunciation and fluency. In 2020, I became a primary and secondary school teacher with a private education company who teaches the English curriculum to all the public schools across the city. During my time as a primary and secondary school teacher, I also tutored students online in China and Vietnam. This experience has enabled me to know the best way to get knowledge across through a camera and what technological methods work best. My three biggest passions in life are teaching, sport and travel. I have been lucky enough to travel to over 30 countries and learn about their languages and culture. I love getting to meet people from different countries and become one of the locals. Sport is also a major passion of mine, having played squash competitively and coached it to children and adults since the age of 16. I am also a big football fan, and a supporter of Manchester United. I really can't wait to learn about you!
I am a university graduate who studied Tourism Management at Manchester Metropolitan University. I am confident, personable, and motivated individual, with work experience in a number of settings. Being a competent and effective communicator at all levels, with the ability to use self-initiative and make decisions as appropriate. I am dedicated to quality and accuracy of work, believing it is vital, and will always put in extra work if required. I possess a serious passion for the travel and the tourism industry, also gaining a vast insight into different cultures and working with different individuals. I have a great passion for trying new experiences, in particular adrenaline activities. I love scuba diving, bungee jumping, sky diving, skiing and motorbikes.

私の指導スタイルは学生中心でダイナミックです。 学生が積極的に関与し、英語を練習するほど、より早く上達すると信じています。私にとって英語における間違いというものはなく、学生がどこで間違えたかを認識し、それを修正する学習曲線があるだけです。 学生ができるだけ多く話すことで、教師である私がうまくいった点を称賛し、改善が必要な点を修正することができます。 私はアクティブな教師であり、授業を多様化しようと努めており、学生が常に関与し続け、できるだけ多くの英語の重要な要素を学べるようにしています。英語の4つの重要な要素（話す、聞く、書く、読む）を取り入れることで、英語全体の改善が可能になります。 この指導スタイルが私の学生に合わない場合、より速い学習環境を可能にするのであれば、教師中心に適応させることもできます。

My teaching style is student-centred and dynamic. I believe that the more the student gets involved and practices their English, the faster they will improve. There are no such things as mistakes in English to me, just learning curves where students can acknowledge where they went wrong and correct it. By the student speaking as much as possible it enables me, the teacher, to praise and correct what went well, and what needs improvement. I am an active teacher who tries to diversify his lessons, so that students remain constantly engaged and learn as many key elements of English as they can. By incorporating the four key elements of English- speaking, listening, writing, reading- this enables an overall improvement of their English. If this teaching style does not appeal to my student/s, I can adapt and make it more teacher-centred, if this enables a faster learning environment.
