こんにちは！私の名前はキルステン先生です。教えることが大好きです。生徒がクラスで快適に感じ、自分に合った方法で教えられ、英語を学びながら楽しんでいることを目指しています。
私は大学を卒業して以来、さまざまな形で教育に携わってきました。すべての年齢層とレベルの教えることが大好きで、他の職業に就くことは想像できません。夫と私は、28歳、27歳、25歳、19歳の4人の子供がいます。また、3匹の犬と1匹のチンチラも飼っています。私はフィクション、特に歴史小説やミステリーを読むのが好きです。

Hello! My name is Ms. Kirsten, and I love to teach. It is my goal to make sure that my students are comfortable in the class, are taught in the way that they learn best, and are having fun while learning English.
I have been in education in different forms from the time I graduated from college. I love teaching all ages and all levels and cannot imagine being in any other career. My husband and I have four kids ages 28, 27, 25, and 19. We also have three dogs and a chinchilla. I love to read fiction - especially historical fiction and mysteries.

I love to design the classes I teach to meet the needs of all learners. Therefore, I try to incorporate visual, auditory, and, if possible, tactile/kinesthetic activities into each lesson. I have a friend who once said that she "teaches students, not subjects." I feel the same way! I want students to feel comfortable in class and know that I am there to help them learn. For adults, unless you pick a specific lesson, I will begin with asking some fun questions to spark discussion. It gives us a chance to get to know one another and allows me to assess your level of English fluency. From there, we can move on to specific lessons, do the Cambly lessons, read articles etc. We will work together to reach your goals. For kids, I follow the same format for the first lesson. After that we can read books together, play games, or just talk. I have several kids who enjoy science, so their parents send me the link to their text, we go through the material, and even do experiments together!!
