I'm Catherine Ellis and I'm from England. I am here to help you improve your English, as well as your confidence in speaking it. I've taught children, teenagers and adults. I prefer teaching intermediate and advanced students, and older children rather than very young ones. I enjoy helping people learn to love speaking English, and watching their progress as they overcome their weaknesses. I'm very patient, but also flexible to an individual's needs. I understand the joy, but also the frustration of learning a new language as I learned Spanish, and am here to help you navigate that journey. If you have specific needs or resources you would like to use, please do let me know.

My style will usually depend on the student and their needs, but I focus mostly on conversation and helping with general communication and confidence. The most important things for you to know are that I am patient, and also that I will always try to keep the interaction engaging so that you're learning without the experience being stressful or boring!
