Hello, prospective students! I'm delighted to introduce myself as your potential tutor. My name is Charné, and I have a true passion for teaching and helping students achieve their language goals. With over 9-years of experience in teaching ESL to both young learners and adults, I understand that learning a new language can be challenging, so I focus on building a supportive and encouraging classroom atmosphere. A little about me, I am a traveler at heart and invite you to come along on my adventures as I travel around the world and learn about cultures, traditions and of course incredible cuisines. I too love learning languages and new skills; I speak three languages and I'm currently learning to play the ukulele. If you're ready to embark on this exciting language adventure with me, I invite you to join my class.
Let me tell you a little bit about Me! I grew up in Sunny South Africa but have always had an adventurous soul. Following that I started travelling from the age of 20 to discover more about rich cultures, traditions and landscapes that expand over this incredible place we call Earth. When I'm not embarking on exciting adventures, I indulge in my hobbies, which include learning languages and playing the ukulele, reading, outdoor activities and soaking up the sun. My teaching style is student-centered, designed to create an engaging and interactive learning experience. I believe in the power of active participation, so I encourage students to participate in discussions. However if you have a specific request, I would be glad to assist you on this too. I also provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their language skills. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. By tailoring my approach to individual needs and learning styles, I aim to inspire a love for the English language and empower students to become confident and proficient English speakers.
