Hello. I've been teaching for over 20 years, and so I have a lot of knowledge about the English language. My lessons are interactive and fun, and you will do a lot of talking. I am a grammar expert and very experienced teaching language skills, reading, writing, speaking and listening. I teach children as well, 10 years or above if they want to study KET, PET or FCE. I have worked in England, Turkey, Indonesia and Brunei and traveled to many more countries. I love talking and meeting new people and always have fun teaching. I like watching films, reading and outdoor activities. I am a bit of a fitness freak and regularly go to the gym.
I am currently in Indonesia. I have just finished a 12 year contract in Brunei where I taught upper secondary, years 9,10 and 11. I love living in South East Asia. The people are lovely and the weather is warm! I love to chat so come and have a lesson.

I am a communicative teacher which is usual practice when teaching EFL, as this encourages students to talk to teach other and try out the language rather than worrying about accuracy. Accuracy can develop through reading and writing. However, in between different stages of the lesson I will correct and give feedback if necessary. If we are learning grammar or writing there will be more feedback and correction. You will always learn something in my lessons such as new vocabulary and new grammar. If you just want to talk in the lesson that's fine and I will give feedback on your accuracy, then we can spend time improving your English knowledge. I look forward to meeting you.
