Hi, I’m Derya. With over five years of dedicated tutoring experience and 22 years of residency in Australia, I offer a native-level command of English paired with a passion for student success. I pride myself on maintaining a high-energy, positive learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential. My current practice focuses exclusively on children and female adult learners.
Having spent 22 years in Australia before relocating to Turkey five years ago, I bring a unique, multicultural perspective to my teaching. My tutoring career began upon my arrival in Turkey, and I have since dedicated myself to fostering a learning environment built on mutual respect and an appreciation for diverse values.

My teaching style can be described as interactive, supportive and energetic. I encourage my students to have a voice in the classroom, make sure they speak as much as they can regardless of what level English they have and ask questions.
