Hello! My name is Jennifer, but you can call me Jen. I cannot wait to meet you in class! I have been a teacher for 20 years. 11 of those years have been virtual and for the last 10 years I have also taught students English in China. With all my experience, I can help make learning English super fun! I specialize in reading comprehension strategies as well as English grammar, so you can learn some great academic English!. My name is Jen. I have been a teacher for 20 years. I have one daughter that is about to graduate high school. We have three dogs. Don't tell my other dogs, but our little pug is my favorite!! She is so super cute. I love to run and workout. Baking with my daughter is one of my favorite things to do. We love to bake different kinds of cookies. Chocolate is my favorite food! I can eat it all day. I love to read and watch documentaries about all different types of topics. Summer is my favorite season because I love vacationing anywhere there is a beach! Teaching is my passion and I can't wait to meet you soon!

I am a special education teacher, so differentiated instruction is my speciality. What does that mean?.. It means that I teach according to the learning style of each individual student. So, however a student learns best is how I will teach. I love to keep students engaged and interested. That means that learning is super fun with me! When learning is fun and a student feels successful then I have accomplished my goal as a teacher! :0)
