As long as you're trying your best.ð A little about me: I have taught artðš in the Tennessee public school system for nearly two decades, but had to retire early after a life-saving emergency spinal surgery. I have truly missed teaching my young art students in the classroom.ð I am grateful for those years, but have to work from home now, so Iâve decided to teach English online to kids from all over the worldð! After a trial lesson with me, I hope your child will be as excited about learning as I am⊠along with my crew from the Zð! ðŠðŠðŠðŠðððŠððŠð»ðŠð ððŠðŠð
I have two grown sons of whom I am extremely proud. My oldest just graduated from UNC Chapel Hill (North Carolina) and my youngest is busy figuring out his path. I have written several childrenâsðbooks and am also a portrait ðŒartist for petsð¶and their peopleð. I love campingð & hikingð¥Ÿ, swimmingðââïž & fishingð£ at the lake or the ocean ð, reading ð & writing ð, drawing âïž & paintingð, yogað§ââïž, and frisbee golf â³ïž âŠon the course or on the Nintendo Wii! I also LOVE to travel and got to take a group of students to Europe the year I taught high school as an interim teacher. An AMAZING trip!

I think learning a second language should be fun and entertaining instead of a chore. This approach keeps kids engaged in each lesson and excited about learning! I greatly enjoy interacting with kids and seeing their face light up when they âget itâ. Thereâs nothing quite like it. I love the idea of helping children learn a skill that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.
