Hello to you. My name is Marcus and i'm looking forward to helping you boost your confidence in English through conversation. I'm from Stoke-on-Trent England, an area in the midlands known as "The Potteries" as it is famous for it's industrial past and ceramics Heritage. Google the great pottery throw down, that's where i'm from. But enough about Pottery... My day job is working as a Learner Support Worker in a specialist education college for young adults on the autism spectrum, supporting them to achieve academic qualifications and independence in adult life. This means i'm super adaptable and resourceful when it comes to communicating with people. Before that I worked a long time in Sales, Retail and Customer service so chatting to all kinds of people has always just come naturally to me. For more advanced learners let me teach you British Culture, Idioms (common phrases) Slang, plus anything and everything you would need for a good chin wag down the pub. Beginner learners lets explore pronunciation, sentence structures, introductions, English for Travel and getting to know you. I highly recommend choosing one of the many lessons on Cambly as these will help as a great visual aid and source of conversation to build your confidence. Wherever you are at I will support and encourage your English skills to flourish, using a relaxed, friendly and conversational manner. Probably with a joke or two.
